When it comes to food, there is one way to win my husband over…practically anything with a sauce! I want to share a delicious and succulent dish. Crispy chicken smothered in a smooth sweet and tangy sauce..yum! 11 ingredients may seem like a lot, but honestly when you’re making it you hardly notice it and the sauce alone is everything you need in life. It’s absolutely the best!
Yields: 4 Servings Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 35 minutes

- 2-3 Chicken Breasts (Butterflied/Halved)
- 1 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour (Reserve 1 tsp.)
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- SAUCE
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Garlic Clove (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. Parsley
- 3/4 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1/4 Cup Honey
- 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp. Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Water

Mix reserved flour with water and set aside.

In a shallow dish add salt and pepper to the flour. Coat each chicken breast completely with flour and shake off excess flour, set aside.

Melt butter in Olive oil in medium-high heat.

Cook chicken breast through, about 6-8 minutes per side. When done set aside.

Lower heat to medium, add garlic and a touch of oil if needed, and lightly brown the garlic.

Whisk in the flour mixture, broth and lemon juice, bring it to a simmer.

Continue whisking while adding soy sauce, honey and parsley for about 5 minutes or so.

Once the sauce is done, generously drizzle (or pour) the honey-lemon sauce over the chicken.
*You can also place the chicken breasts back in the pan and coat both sides with the sauce.
